The "Harzer Hexenstieg" - a long distance path the shows the Harz Mountians in all their beauty. In 5 separate stages from Osterode to Torfhaus and the Brocken decending into Bodetal and Thale.
The route crosses both Harz national parks and there are three information centers and shops with interactive displays about the route and surrounding countryside and where you can re-equip yourselves for the route ahead.
